From Sonal: I have been actively involved in ‘Wellness in medicine , wellness as a woman in medicine ‘ for almost a decade. I am part of wellness committees at my hospital and presented grand rounds. It’s my mission to help my physician colleagues from burning out and giving up what they sacrificed so much for. In my practice as an internist I focus specifically on mental , physical and spiritual health! I do talk about impact of eating healthy and thinking healthy. Wellness is not one dimensional. It’s multidimensional, it needs to me nurtured. Resilience is a muscle that develops as a result of mindful nurturing of mind , body and soul!
